We would like to help you but you have to give more details about this and that etc.Īnyways, I have the navigation thing in a boss head unit keeps bothering me about updating. Naviextras toolbox crack software#I am confused about the software not recognizing primo, I thought it is not recognizing the actual sd card device because that's what it says, no device connected.ĭownload copy from where? Is there a legal way to acquire the maps that will work? The folder that I copied to backup says primo2 and I have had the radio since about 2012 or so. This is not the place to be surrounded with comfort, neither a place for fully legal stuff.Īnyway, if you want legal maps, turn to your device seller. Not that legal maps, when you are still interested, can be found here. Look for the latest HERE maps for North America. If you find a working link (I don't provide one) copy the new files in the right place. That is: replace your files with the ones you downloaded.īetter safe than sorry: move your old files to your computer so in case of need there is a backup. When all is well, you can delete that backup. Thanks for the info I will give it a try. Yes I do have a backup of the primo folder.Ī little off topic, I finally figured out that for music player function in the primo program to work the music files have to be loaded on the same sd card as the maps. Good news is that the primo music player interface is way better and less confusing than the one in the boss program. Unfortunately, it does not seem to be integrated with the boss controls, so there is no equalization possible and the music is extremely flat and almost un-listenable. Laingmanĭon't worry - not everyone has such an "attitude". There are a few members that are extremely "grumpy" all of the time! :-) I've noticed the same thing in my short time here. I'm sure that they get a lot of the same requests with missing info or the same questions repeatedly, but that's the way these forums work. A new person comes on and asks the same question that has been asked 20 times before. But that's the whole point of these forums - to help people that need help. If you don't think someone is deserving of help, then just ignore the post - no need to be all grumpy and have such an attitude! If it's really that bothersome to you, then just don't reply! :-) Just my opinion on the matter, of course! Instead of having such and attitude and telling someone to search or instead of lecturing them, you can help the user out just as easily. It's really only 2 or 3 members that I've seen repeatedly act like that (not mentioning any names!). The vast majority are polite and willing to help without "scolding" or "lecturing" you!Īnyway, Primo 2.4 does have an equalizer that you can enable. Under the section in sys.txt, add this line: If you want to give it a shot, you'd need to add the following to your "sys.txt" file, which resides in the main Primo directory: However, it's considered an "experimental feature" and I've never tried it personally.
